Título: Croping Question
Publicado por: rkoeneke en 02 de Mayo de 2008, 22:30
What is the best age to crop at? I am thinking about getting a dogo from the Netherlands where croping is not allowed. The dog wouldn't be able to make the trip to the US tell 12 weeks. Is there going to be a problem croping that late? To get the best shape ear, when is the best time to crop?

The best age for cropping ears is at 10 weeks old.
Of course it is possible to crop later I saw puppies who were cropped at 16 weeks old, but I personaly prefer the crop at 10 weeks.

i think tha the age advisables is when the dog are vaccinated, because defenses are at the highest and is easier because it's puppies, but also can be later , but the cure will be more careful....greetings :-D
